Sandy Kennedy is an artist based in Greensboro, NC. Sandy is a self-taught, active artist who developed her own style, composing her own artistic identity, and creating unique works of art.

Sandy’s focus is to create an atmosphere and to convey the feelings and emotions to the viewer that she felt at the time of making them. She enjoys experimenting with blending various color palettes, with an emphasis on shades of blues, and different types media. Her works range from acrylic pour painting to mixed media, often including cardboard and crepe paper. Each painting is different and she layers it with texture and paint. Her artistic influences include Olga Soby and William Mangum.

Sandy is enjoying her artistic journey and absorbing everything she can about creating interesting art pieces. She looks forward to painting as much as possible and expanding her collection.
