Jenny Jones Ballard is an artist based in the Greensboro/High Point area of North Carolina. Originally from Youngsville, near Raleigh, she attended Greensboro College and is currently an art teacher at High Point Central High School.

Her artwork spans a variety of styles, often blending humor, symbolism, and imagination. While much of her work leans toward the macabre, she also creates abstract nudes, landscapes, and colorful abstract paintings. Nature is a frequent source of inspiration, appearing through whimsical depictions of flowers, owls, and other organic forms.

Many of Ballard's paintings explore themes of women's rights, mythology, and the divine feminine. She enjoys incorporating storytelling and symbolic imagery into her work.

Experimentation is central to her artistic practice. Rather than focusing on one style, Ballard follows her creative instincts and allows each project to develop naturally. Her diverse body of work reflects a passion for exploration, creativity, and personal expression.
