Natalie
Eversole
Natalie Eversole grew up surrounded by art in her family’s fine art gallery, where she developed an early interest in the discipline of painting restoration. In high school, she trained hands-on with Adele Pruitt and Conservation Supply Co. in California, and later pursued a chemistry degree at East Carolina University while loading her schedule with studio art and art history. An invitation to study at The Surikov Art Institute in Moscow shifted her focus solely to art, prompting her to create a custom multidisciplinary degree that combined Russian language, chemistry, and fine art. She completed the degree in 3.5 years, including a semester abroad, and relocated to Moscow to train in portraiture and conservation. After finishing the program, she returned to the U.S. and worked in New York at Chelsea Art Restoration and Simon Parkes Art Conservation (SPAC), where she contributed to works by Rothko, Monet, and colonial-era artists. Since 2016, Natalie has lived in Greensboro, NC, balancing restoration with portrait commissions. In 2020, she received a Regional Artist Grant from the Guilford County Arts Council. Her work is held in private collections across the U.S.
