The journey of imagination, experimentation, implementation, and creation is profoundly therapeutic to me. In a world that often feels hectic, divided, and marked by the alienation of “others,” creativity provides an opportunity to slow down, connect with others, and rediscover the beauty of nature around us.

Inspiration may come at any time from social and environmental issues, individual stories, farmland seen while driving, or even a small patch of rich green moss. Exploring a wide array of mediums, materials, subjects, and ideas, the process of art-making is my most valuable outlet for introspection and the authentic expression of emotions that I might otherwise ignore.
