My art is very much like my garden--awash with colorful blooms, a little wild and imperfect, but so joyful.
I often paint florals that have been picked from my garden and arranged in vintage vases and containers that I collect. I love including vintage items, motifs or ephemera in my paintings and collages, a nod to the creative, resourceful women from my past who helped shape me.
I bring the same colorful approach to my landscapes and interior paintings. I try to highlight the beauty of the ordinary places and spaces, not just scenic vistas.
I am a newer artist, but a lifelong creative. I love experimenting with different media, including acrylic and oil paints, watercolor and collage.
