I found this wood burl in a wood pile and made this casting without having any plan for the outcome. The blank sat for a few months before I could make up my mind. Blue being one of my favorite colors I wanted to preserve as much of the resin and the figure from the burl. After ruffing out the blank and seeking the effects of the cut gum balls, I landed on a dragon egg.
