I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember, starting with the earliest days of coloring and drawing. Nature and animals show up in almost everything I make — they’re at the heart of how I see the world.
I work across many mediums, including painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, and fused glass, I’m currently focused on collage. I build these pieces from paper and scraps most people would throw away like candy wrappers, wallpaper samples, and bits of everyday life.
I love turning trash into something beautiful. Using discarded materials to create images of the natural world feels like its own kind of statement: beauty can come from what we often overlook and that nothing is truly waste until we decide it is.
