As a landscape artist, I love to portray the beauty and majesty of the created world in a way that resonates with the viewer. Working primarily from photos of my own travels and explorations, I find inspiration in familiar North Carolina beaches and forests and in more exotic scenes from travels to other states and countries. What is essential is not only to convey my own delight, wonder, and nostalgia, but also to spark a response or sense of affiliation by the viewer.
