Ash Hein
Hello my name is Ash, I am an artist creating glyphs to explore consciousness, connection and the world around me. My art consists of simple repetitive shapes and minimal color across multiple mediums. I call the shapes glyphs because each new character builds on itself and together they become a language. Each drawing is a snapshot of my visual diary. The more I play with these shapes the more I begin to understand myself and who I am in the world.
Through the simplicity of my art I hope to help everyone understand they, too, are capable of a creative practice. In fact, If you don't already have a creative practice I hope it leads you to ask yourself "why not?"
