I am Miru, short for Mrunalini (bunch of lotus stalks), the sole proprietor of my Small Business, Lotus Stalks Pottery.

Originally from India, I immigrated to the US with a degree in Ayurveda to continue higher education in biological sciences. After completing a masters and working in molecular labs for several years I could finally afford the opportunity to delve into clay; a life’s dream for me. This journey started with pottery lessons in 2012 at Art Alliance in Downtown Greensboro, steadily gaining confidence and blossomed into Lotus Stalks Pottery in 2023. I work out of my home studio in Summerfield, NC with the constant unwavering love and support of my family.
