Many years ago, I lived in Barcelona, Spain. The city is bursting with color and the fantastical architecture of Antoni Gaudi. Later, after leaving Spain, I dreamed intensely and often of those places and of my attic apartment overlooking orange trees and the rooftops of Barcelona.

My fantasy cityscapes and country scenes are bursts of color and memories that spring out of my imagination and dreams mixed with yearning for another place and time.

The collages are made using many varieties of paper, photos, and paint and anything else that happens to catch my fancy. Often, I begin with a theme, and idea, a color or sometimes a photo, and I let the creative process take me wherever it will.
