“Nature is my inspiration. Raku combines the earth, wind and fire. This process inspires my form, texture and color. My Raku is personalized with my original glaze which emphasizes the colors of copper. Each hand made from and color merge to complete a dynamic statement in clay.

My Horse Hair Raku add another dimension to my work. Each unglazed piece is removed from the kiln at 1400 degrees and each horse hair is placed on the surface. The hair burns and creates a carbon trail. “
