Brenda Olds Carter is an American artist whose paintings are revered for their bold, vibrant colors, detail lines, and movement. Brenda was born in Snow Hill, North Carolina. Brenda received her Bachelor of Arts/Education Degree in Art Design/Art Education from North Carolina Agricultural and State University Greensboro, North Carolina. It was during this time she develop a love for painting.

Brenda has specialized in mixed media art as well acrylic, watercolor, stained glass, and fiber arts, during her extensive career as an artist. Her work has been featured in Collegiate Magazine, Delta Kappa Gamma International online Art Gallery, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Alumni Art Exhibit, We Art Greensboro Exhibit, MERGE, and Red Dog Gallery. Since her retirement from Guilford County Schools Brenda has since focus on working on her personal artwork.
