My work explores memory, emotion, and the ways our inner lives are shaped by experience. Working primarily with acrylic paint and mixed media, I create intuitive abstract works that often incorporate expressive faces, figures, symbols and layered color, and unexpected forms. I am drawn to the space between what is recognizable creating paintings that invite multiple interpretations.
My work reflects interest in the complexity of human experience- change , joy, uncertainty and the stories we carry.
through color, form, and gesture, I create images that feel both personal and open ended, allowing viewers to connect through their own memories and interpretation.
