Carol Long

Artists Statement:

A Greensboro native, her love of arts and crafts inspired Carol to devote her career to teaching art to children and also to pursue her own artistic endeavors. Carol earned a BFA from High Point College and taught art as well as photography in the Guilford County Schools for 30 years.

Carol is now retired from teaching but is as busy as ever. Carol and Jim, her retired principal husband, enjoy traveling, sports and spending time with family and friends.

Oil painting scenes from trips to Europe and the USA have inspired paintings of landscapes, villages and other scenery.

Carol has shown her work in art exhibitions and works on commission.
