From stoneware clay I create leaf platters, garden urns and pedestal bowls, and sculptures of
roosters and foxes, rabbits and ducks.
Each artwork is either turned on the potters wheel or hand built from clay slabs. My glaze colors come from naturally occurring minerals that I mix in water and apply with a paint brush. Then I fire them to 2370 degrees in a gas kiln with a reduced oxygen atmosphere to produce amazing colors like copper reds and greens or cobalt blues and rutile golds.
I look forward to seeing you during Artstock. At other times just call me for a tour of my studio
